A small gallery in Via Moncini, in which Mrs. Marie Therese Eckelmans Martin – Belgian by birth and Massetana by adoption – preserves a priceless treasure: the collection of minerals, rocks and fossils belonging to Mr. Giuliano Galeotti, a Massetano with a passion for mineralogy, who over the years has managed to collect more than thousand pieces, mostly from the subsoil of the Colline Metallifere, but also from all over the world.
The atmosphere is magical, the lustre and the varied shapes of the minerals, the care taken over the furnishings and the layout together with the charm of Marie Therese will allow you to exclaim – quoting Goethe – “I am here to be amazed!”
Visits can be made on request for small groups of max 4/6 people, subject to Marie Therese’s availability, to share this space of beauty given to us by nature for eternity.
On Wednesday August 14Th the Gallery will be open 4 to 7 pm
