Between 23 and 29 September 2024, the artistic residency of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts was renewed in Massa Marittima, whose students will be joined at the weekend by some students from the Scuola Superiore Normale of Pisa.
The activities of the Academy’s young artists, in continuity with the first residency that was held in 2023, and as part of the project ‘Archetypal Figures of Art between the Middle Ages and the Contemporary’, curated by Giacomo Agosti and Paola Salvi, are this year partly open to the public and will leave in Massa Marittima works of art inspired by the place and presented in a first widespread exhibition that will remain open until the end of November.
The works will be set up in the Museo di San Pietro all’Orto, in the reception rooms of the Museo Subterraneo and the Biblioteca Comunale, in the Museo Archeologico and in the open spaces of the Cassero Senese, and will be full of collateral events open to the public!
Updates and more information on the individual activities will be provided via the social channels of the Municipality and the Massa Marittima Tourist Office.
